Description

ProLogic Consulting is seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric care and treatment to residents at the Waco Center for Youth in Texas.

The successful candidate will conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnose and treat mental health conditions, manage medications, and develop appropriate treatment plans to support residents' mental health and overall well-being.

Qualified candidates may provide services on-site or remotely via telepsychiatry, subject to applicable requirements. Remote providers must be physically present at the facility on their first day of service.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and comprehensive assessments of residents.

Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.

Evaluate medication needs and provide appropriate medication management.

Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive clinical documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Monitor residents' psychiatric conditions and treatment progress.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Communicate clinical findings and treatment recommendations effectively.

Complete all required facility and Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) training.

Perform other related clinical duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Texas medical license.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.

Valid National Provider Identifier (NPI).

Proficiency in computer applications and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Ability to complete all required facility and HHSC training.

Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $150 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Contract: 6 months

Location: Waco, Texas

Work Mode: On-site or Telepsychiatry, subject to applicable requirements
