Description

You will analyze functional requirements for Positive Train Control (PTC) systems and their integrated components.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional requirements for Back Office Systems (BOS), Onboard, Dispatching Systems, and Wayside Devices.
• Execute lab and field testing alongside production issue analysis to identify root causes and implement efficiency solutions.
• Author, analyze, and simulate production-level issues in lab environments for Onboard and UPBOS systems.
• Translate production issues into test scenarios and test cases, performing peer reviews and organizing test plans.
• Coordinate with business analysts, clients, and development teams to define technical requirement specifications.
• Provide final authorization for deploying application software into production environments.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with PTC Onboard and BOS.
• Experience in roles such as Software Consultant, IT Engineer, or Testing Manager.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis on production-level issues.
• Experience with test plan organization and lab simulation.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, Applied Computer Science, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to various unanticipated locations within the U.S.
