Description

You will analyze functional requirements for Positive Train Control (PTC) systems and execute lab and field testing to resolve production issues.

Since is_remote, hybrid, and on_site are all 0, no work-mode line is included.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional requirements for Back Office Systems (BOS), Onboard, Dispatching Systems, and Wayside Devices.
• Execute lab and field testing to identify root causes and implement efficiency solutions for production issues.
• Author, analyze, and simulate production-level issues in lab environments for Onboard and UPBOS systems.
• Translate production issues into test scenarios and test cases, performing peer reviews and organizing test plans.
• Coordinate with business analysts, clients, and development teams to define technical requirement specifications.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience with PTC Onboard and Back Office Systems (BOS).
• Experience in roles such as Software Consultant, IT Engineer, or Testing Manager.
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis on production-level issues.
• Experience with test plan organization and lab simulation.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Application, Applied Computer Science, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel or relocate to various unanticipated locations within the U.S.
