Description

You will design and manage database PaaS services across Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database PaaS services with a focus on security, performance, and integration.
• Develop automation pipelines using infrastructure as code to manage cloud resources.
• Execute root cause analysis and troubleshooting for complex database and architectural issues.
• Integrate cloud application architectures with existing complex systems.
• Adhere to established architecture, engineering, and security standards during development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or database administration.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience with database PaaS including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and Redis.
• Proficiency with Terraform and GitHub Actions for pipeline automation.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Azure CLI, and Google Cloud Shell.
• Solid understanding of networking and public cloud network security.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Active Directory and security best practices.
• Ability to work within Agile methodologies.
