Description

Manage technology risk and controls within a public cloud environment for a heavily regulated organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with public cloud adoption and usage.
• Develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives for risk management.
• Communicate policy requirements and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Influence change and implement common-sense approaches to modern risk complexity.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Technology Risk & Controls within a large, regulated industry.
• 3+ years of experience working with Public Cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, Snowflake, or MongoDB Atlas.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Strong written communication skills for documenting risk and policy requirements.
• Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making.
• Experience in risk identification and mitigation strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Security Specialty.
• Risk certifications including CIA, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT.
• Experience with NIST, COBIT, ITIL, CSA, or ISO frameworks.
