Description

You will manage tax preparation strategies and ensure compliance with IRS codes and regulations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop tax preparation strategies by researching IRS codes, regulations, and compliance rules.
• Prepare federal and state S-corp, C-corp, and partnership tax returns.
• Represent clients directly when communicating with government agencies.
• Build and maintain client relationships through professional phone, email, and in-person communication.
• Review all work for accuracy and detail to ensure high-quality filings.

Required Skills

• Active, unrestricted CPA, Tax LLM, or JD credentials.
• 3+ years of public accounting and tax preparation experience.
• Recent experience preparing federal and state S-corp, C-corp, and partnership tax returns.
• Extensive knowledge of tax laws.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and accounting software.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse personalities and levels of authority.

Preferred Skills

• Audit experience with the IRS or other tax authorities.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
