Description

Provide professional category support for the procurement of Information Technology goods and services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the purchase of merchandise, supplies, equipment, and services following established guidelines, policies, and laws.
• Prepare, review, track, and expedite purchase orders, quotes, proposals, and agreements for policy conformance.
• Monitor and track vendor performance, managing relationships and taking corrective action on defective goods or services.
• Maintain procurement databases and generate reports on goods ordered and received.
• Administer purchasing policies in conjunction with OIT requirements and state/federal laws.

Required Skills

• Experience with PeopleSoft 9.0.
• Proficiency in Team GA Marketplace e-Procurement.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with electronic data record-keeping and reporting.
• Knowledge of the Georgia Procurement Manual (GPM) and related regulations.
• Strong evaluation, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Georgia Certified Purchasing Associate (GCPA) certification.
