Description

Lead technical delivery and manage data engineering teams while acting as the primary client contact for project requirements and status reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Data Engineers and Application Developers through the entire project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary client contact, defining requirements and ensuring timely delivery.
• Prepare and present status reports detailing progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
• Identify and resolve technical roadblocks to maintain project flow and efficiency.
• Assess current processes, identify improvements, and suggest technology solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional working experience in data engineering or development.
• Proficiency in PySpark and Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
• Strong command of Python programming.
• Experience with Big Data environments and architectures.
• Familiarity with Databricks platforms.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with software configuration management systems.
• Strong project and team management capability.

• Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models.
• Experience in identifying process improvements and suggesting technology solutions.
