Description

Develop data processing solutions and financial models using PySpark, Scala, and Python.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines for complex financial datasets including income statements and balance sheets.
• Implement models for discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyout (LBO), and M&A analysis.
• Manage data workflows across AWS and Azure Databricks environments.
• Process and transform large-scale financial data using Linux shell scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Scala.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon EC2 and S3.
• Experience working with Azure Databricks.
• Mandatory experience handling financial data.
• Knowledge of the Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, Hive, HBase, Impala, Sqoop, Oozie).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ZooKeeper, Drill, Flume, Solr, and Avro.
