Design system solutions and develop custom applications to meet evolving business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate user needs into system architecture and develop software applications.
• Handle coding, debugging, and documentation while collaborating with the SRE team.
• Assess application performance, validate component integrations, and provide process flow diagrams.
• Test engineering resilience of software and automation tools.
• Provide post-implementation and ongoing production support.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PySpark and Spark.
• Experience with Big Data and Hadoop ecosystems.
• Proficiency in SQL and Hive.
• Scripting experience in Windows, Unix, Perl, or Ant.
• Cloud experience with AWS and GCP.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Data Management.
• Experience leading engineering teams and working within Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating from monolithic, batch-based legacy platforms to event-driven, microservices-based architectures.
