Modernize retail analytics platforms within the Hadoop, Spark, and Python ecosystems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Modernize existing retail analytics platforms using Spark and Python.
• Develop software solutions, detailed specifications, and application code.
• Design job orchestration, metadata, audit trails, and error handling.
• Build reusable components and implement new design patterns.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of hands-on PySpark coding.
• Proven experience building ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for orchestration and parameter passing.
• Proficiency in Databricks, Delta Lake, and notebook development.
• Strong competency in unit, integration, and QA testing.
• Ability to perform low-level design and create reusable components.
• 4-8 years of experience with a focus on EDW and ETL.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Scala, DevOps, and CI/CD workflows.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
