Description

• 5–10 years of experience in technology leadership, software development, technology delivery, solution engineering, or related roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional technology teams and managing software development or technology projects.
• Strong technical expertise across multiple areas of software development and technology.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating solution options to stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and infrastructure.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
• Experience evaluating technologies, preparing recommendations, and supporting technology adoption decisions.
• Experience developing or maintaining technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
• Experience managing vendor relationships and participating in contract negotiation or vendor governance activities.
• Experience with Python and AI-related development is preferred and relevant to the position title.
• Industry experience in technology-focused, software development, cloud, data, AI, or enterprise solution environments is preferred.
• Candidates may also qualify through equivalent combinations of software development, technical architecture, engineering leadership, program delivery, cloud engineering, AI development, or technology management experience that demonstrate the required outcomes. 
  
   

Day-to-Day Activities

 

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, clarify priorities, and translate needs into technology solutions and delivery plans.
• Lead cross-functional technology teams, provide technical guidance, review progress, resolve dependencies, and support team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate new technologies, maintain technology roadmaps, prepare adoption recommendations, and manage project deliverables, risks, vendors, and stakeholder updates.
• Make technical and delivery decisions within the agreed scope, balancing business value, security, sustainability, cost, quality, and operational impact; escalate material risks when required. 
  
   

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered.
• A minimum of 5–10 years of experience in technology leadership and software development is stated as the preferred qualification pathway.
• Certification in cloud computing, Agile delivery, project management, software architecture, AI, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
• Relevant training in technology leadership, software architecture, cloud infrastructure, Agile methodologies, project management, AI, security, or vendor management is preferred.
• Commitment to continuous professional development through technical learning, leadership development, industry awareness, knowledge sharing, and evaluation of emerging technologies
