Build and deploy backend services, APIs, and AI models within Python environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Implement and optimize MongoDB collection schemas, indexing, and query performance.
• Build and deploy AI models using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
• Integrate message queues and stream-processing platforms like Apache Kafka for high-throughput data tasks.
• Manage data access layers using ODMs like Beanie and ORMs for SQL databases.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of Python programming experience with deep knowledge of FastAPI and asyncio.
• Expert-level experience with MongoDB, including schema design and optimization.
• Proficiency with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch and Hugging Face Transformers.
• Practical experience implementing RAG methodologies and vector databases like Pinecone.
• Experience with Pydantic, Pandas, Celery, and AIOHTTP.
• Competency with Git for version control and CI/CD best practices.
• Knowledge of SQLAlchemy and Beanie.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in the e-commerce or retail data orchestration domain.
