Description

You will create and refine quantitative algorithm scripts in Python to solve complex financial problems, functioning as a Data Science Engineer.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize quantitative algorithms for financial applications using Python.
• Build and maintain back-end services using Object-Oriented design patterns and microservices.
• Implement parallel programming concepts, including multiprocessing and cloud-based parallelization.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing analytics solutions for improved performance and scalability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Python programming, with a focus on back-end development.
• Strong mathematical and statistical skills applied to financial algorithm development.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, .NET, and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of software development principles and design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure services (CI/CD, Kubernetes, Data Factory, Containers/Docker).
• Familiarity with AWS equivalents for cloud infrastructure.
• C# development experience.
