Description

Lead QA automation for API and microservices testing within agile product teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable Python automation frameworks for RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Perform end-to-end integration testing across multiple microservices and backend systems.
• Define test strategies, automation best practices, and continuous testing approaches.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure CI/CD test coverage.
• Mentor a team of automation engineers on best practices and quality assurance.

Required Skills

• 8+ years overall QA/testing experience, with 4+ years in API test automation.
• Strong proficiency in Python and libraries like PyTest, Requests, Robot Framework, or unittest.
• Expertise in RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL API testing.
• Experience in microservices testing, including contract testing and service virtualization.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Solid understanding of end-to-end system integration testing in distributed architectures.
• Knowledge of Postman, Swagger, OpenAPI, JMeter, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Behave, Cucumber).
• Exposure to message queues and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
