Description

Build and maintain scalable server-side applications and RESTful APIs using Python.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Python frameworks. Write unit-tested, maintainable code following OOP principles and data structures. Implement API security protocols including OAuth, JWT, and user access control. Manage background task processing and message queue systems. Deploy and manage services using containerization and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Python.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience in software development.
• 3+ years of Python server development using Django, Flask, or Bottle.
• Expertise in building and working with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with AWS (EC2 and Lambda) and micro-services architecture.
• Proficiency with Docker and containerization tools.
• Hands-on experience with message queues like RabbitMQ or ZeroMQ.
• Experience with background task management using Celery.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vagrant for environment configuration.
