Description

You will own the architecture and implementation of scalable applications using Python, including modernizing existing .NET systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user needs and software requirements for system modernization.
• Audit existing .NET applications, assessing monolith vs. modular design, APIs, and databases.
• Design and develop RESTful/gRPC APIs using Python frameworks, implementing GraphQL endpoints as needed.
• Design and optimize database schemas (SQL and NoSQL) and manage migrations.
• Implement secure authentication (JWT/OAuth) and establish strategies for .NET to Python transformation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expertise in Python development and modern best practices.
• Experience with .NET architecture analysis.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful services.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimization.
• Experience with Django framework.
• Understanding of Active Directory integration and JWT/OAuth implementation.
• Ability to design API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming patterns (asyncio).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with gRPC and GraphQL.
• Background in large-scale system modernization.
