Description

You will develop and deliver software components within an Agile environment, focusing on container-based micro-services and libraries for the telco transport domain. Your work involves creating Resource Adapters, Service templates, and data model updates using Tosca, Netconf, and Yang. You will participate in customer discussions to clarify requirements and support user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop software container-based micro-services, libraries, and features for Resource Adapters and Service templates.
• Translate requirements into actionable design documents and implement data model updates using Tosca, Netconf, or Yang.
• Build services as Docker containers with REST APIs in a DevOps cycle.
• Support customer discussions to understand implementation requirements and conduct user acceptance.
• Train on new technologies, Blue Planet products, and releases.

Required Skills

• Strong software language skills in Java or Python (3+ years’ experience).
• Minimum 3 years of Telco industry experience with an OSS background.
• Experience with Camunda (workflow) and TMF modelling in the telco space (2+ years).
• Strong understanding of Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL) and Cloud environments (AWS, OpenStack).
• Mandatory understanding of CFS/RFS Modelling.
• Familiarity with Yang, YAML, or related modelling languages.
• Experience distilling requirements into design documents.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Network Automation, OSS Fulfilment stack, Path Computation, and Network Topology.
• Knowledge of network modelling following TPE-FRE, TMF, or TAPI.
• Familiarity with distributed high-throughput messaging systems like Apache Kafka, and databases such as Postgres and Neo4j.
