Description

Build and maintain automation systems across Google Workspace, Slack, and AWS infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop TypeScript automation to manage Google Groups distribution lists and model Google Workspace architecture.
• Automate Slack Connect approvals and operations using Python, including integration with Freshservice and token rotation.
• Author Pulumi code (TypeScript or Python) to manage AWS infrastructure, including EKS deployments and DynamoDB tables.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support automation workflows and OAuth flows.
• Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting using Datadog and Logz.io to track automation health.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in automation engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with Google Workspace administration and architecture.
• Knowledge of OAuth workflows and identity integrations (e.g., Okta).
• Experience with SQL for database interaction and dataset maintenance.
• Familiarity with AWS services (EKS, DynamoDB, Secrets Manager).
• Ability to author Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi.
• Experience developing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
