Python Automation Engineer

You will build complex functional and system test plans to validate workflows and features at the component level. You own the release quality through rigorous automation and manual testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements and design reviews for new features.
• Design high-level test approaches and implement detailed test plans.
• Build REST automation frameworks and add automated test cases for new and existing features.
• Test features on distributed systems and perform REST API testing.
• Execute automated and manual tests to identify bugs and work with developers to find root causes of failures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of automation development experience.
• Python API test framework development.
• Experience testing File Systems products and application-level frameworks.
• REST API testing proficiency.
• Linux proficiency.
• Ability to write scripts and tools for development and debugging.
• Ability to debug and extend automated tests.
• Python Testing.
• Knowledge of Networking, Cloud, and VMware.

Preferred Skills

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
