Description

You will own the quality assurance for data transformation processes using automation and deep SQL validation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation and manual test cases to validate software functionality.
• Write and run complex SQL queries to perform data validation and back-end testing.
• Design and execute test cases specifically for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Identify, report, and track defects through established processes using JIRA.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA testing.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
• Proficiency in Python Automation Scripting, preferably with Playwright.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Delta Lake, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Denodo or Azure Databricks.
• Proficiency with Azure Sql Database.
