Description

You will own the automation testing lifecycle for desktop applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery through rigorous functional and regression testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automation test scripts using Python for desktop applications.
• Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for functional and regression testing.
• Perform integration and end-to-end testing for complex application workflows.
• Execute test cases, identify defects, and track issues through to closure.
• Maintain accurate test documentation and automation reports.

Required Skills

• 1–4 years of experience in automation testing with strong Python scripting skills.
• Hands-on experience with desktop application testing tools such as PyAutoGUI, WinAppDriver, AutoIt, or Sikuli.
• Understanding of automation frameworks and test design principles.
• Basic knowledge of API testing and SQL for database validation.
• Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to test frameworks such as Pytest or Robot Framework.
