Description

You will own automated testing and quality assurance for complex distributed cloud computing systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test suites and scripts using Python.
• Test service architecture-based components via HTTP REST APIs.
• Execute black box and white box testing methodologies.
• Troubleshoot and identify issues within distributed cloud environments.
• Resolve technical problems proactively with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in QA and software quality testing.
• Hands-on experience writing test scripts and suites in Python.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL, and HTTP.
• Experience testing HTTP REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Minimum BS in CS, CE, or equivalent degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of forward and reverse proxies.
• Experience working within Agile teams.
