Description

You will design enterprise data management frameworks, security policies, and migration strategies for moving on-premise databases to AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual and logical data models, schemas, and pipelines to ensure scalability.
• Develop migration strategies using AWS tools to transition on-premise databases to the cloud.
• Build POCs using new technologies to explore and validate proposed AWS solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical architectures and data strategies.
• Guide teams in developing prototypes and refining layouts for stakeholder requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture and design.
• Strong proficiency in Python for developing AWS Lambda and Glue scripts.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based ETL tools.
• Experience designing multi-tenant databases, specifically Snowflake.
• Expertise in RDBMS concepts and connecting to IBM iSeries and SaaS products like Salesforce.
• Proven ability to design data pipelines for populating Snowflake or Databricks.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jira, and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to ETL tools such as IICS.
