Description

You will design, develop, and productionize big data and analytics solutions on AWS using Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Productionize Python-based analytics models developed by data science teams.
• Identify and resolve stability and performance issues within the stack.
• Write readable, extensible, and testable code that meets performance requirements.
• Create and maintain unit tests for new and existing code to ensure defect-free delivery to QA.
• Conduct design and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services including S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, and ECS Fargate.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EMR and Redshift.
• Extensive experience with relational and non-relational databases, including SQL, Oracle, and Postgres.
• Strong experience in Unix development and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in SQL and designing data models.
• Experience with Django and RDB.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java development.
• Experience with Anaplan.
