Description

You will lead the migration of legacy Java codebases into Python while building new services on AWS. You own the technical design and execution of this refactoring effort.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing Java codebases to map business logic and architectural patterns.
• Refactor and rewrite legacy Java components into clean, efficient Python.
• Develop and maintain scalable services within the AWS ecosystem.
• Collaborate on technical design decisions during the migration process.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep proficiency in Python for backend service development.
• Hands-on experience with core AWS services.
• Ability to read, interpret, and refactor complex Java code.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work onsite in Malvern, PA, on a hybrid schedule (3 days per week).
