Description

You will develop data products consistent with target state architecture and operating models while driving engineering process improvements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global teams to deliver new initiatives and data product portfolios.
• Drive engineering process improvements by shaping tools and standards.
• Evaluate dataset implementations proposed by peer data engineers.
• Ensure the accuracy and validity of security-level analytics within management systems.
• Enhance system efficiency through improved data-related processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, S3, EMR, and Redshift.
• Experience with Django, SQL, and Relational Databases (RDB).
• Proven track record in front office software development within Asset Management, hedge funds, or investment banking.
• Experience building containerized applications and deploying to public or private clouds.
• Practical knowledge of Agile development, continuous integration, code review, and unit testing.
• Ability to design data models and work with relational database systems.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Java development experience.
