Description

You will build and deploy Python webservice applications on AWS, owning the full development lifecycle from coding to release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement object-oriented Python services using Django, focusing on efficient data structures like hash tables and collections.
• Develop and deploy serverless microservices using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and ECS Fargate.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Concourse, and Jenkins to automate testing and deployment.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Collaborate in Agile, scrum-based teams to deliver features and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of programming experience, with at least 3 years of Python as the primary language.
• Strong proficiency in Django, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2, Kinesis, and ELK.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and database systems like MongoDB and Redis.
• Proficiency with GitHub for version control and CI/CD tools like Concourse and Jenkins.
• Experience with multithreading, exception handling, and object-oriented design patterns.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in Agile environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Redis for caching and session management.
• Familiarity with Kinesis for real-time data streaming.
