Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable serverless REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda. Own the full lifecycle of cloud-native applications, from database schema design to deployment and monitoring.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize REST APIs with Python and AWS Lambda in a serverless architecture.
• Manage data persistence and performance using Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB.
• Execute database schema changes, migrations, and version control via Liquibase.
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting for APIs and databases.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and Agile delivery while resolving production issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and AWS Lambda.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
• Experience with Apache PySpark for data processing.
• Solid understanding of database design, migrations, and Liquibase.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and API development best practices.
