You will build and maintain backend systems using Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design backend components, services, and RESTful APIs for frontend integration.
• Review existing services to identify and resolve technical debt.
• Drive the product roadmap to meet KPIs and deliver business value.
• Own team standards regarding code quality, testing, and engineering practices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python for building scalable software.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL database design.
• Ability to design systems considering computational complexity.
• Familiarity with building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of software engineering practices across the SDLC, including testing and source control.
