Description

Design and maintain scalable backend applications, APIs, and microservices using Python.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Design and optimize relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB) database schemas.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
• Develop unit, integration, and performance tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Python 3.x.
• Strong proficiency in FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or DynamoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps).
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with asynchronous programming using AsyncIO.
• Knowledge of message brokers (RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, AWS SQS) and caching technologies.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog).
