Description

You will lead the backend engineering team, designing and deploying scalable services on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement secure, high-concurrency backend services using Python, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Lead technical roadmap execution, reducing technical debt and improving system resilience.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and complex debugging sessions.
• Define and enforce coding standards, security best practices, and CI/CD pipeline optimizations.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and act as the primary stakeholder liaison.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience with deep expertise in Python.
• Mastery of FastAPI (preferred) or Flask for building high-concurrency RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Spanner/SQL).
• Strong grasp of Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design patterns.
• Proven experience acting as a Technical Lead for a team of 4+ engineers.
• Expert-level knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and automated quality assurance.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
