Description

You will own the design, delivery, and performance tuning of high-quality backend features and distributed systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of large features spanning 3+ months.
• Create technical design specifications and provide accurate sprint estimates.
• Tune distributed system performance to meet strict SLAs.
• Peer review code and mentor engineers on technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python or another dynamically typed, object-oriented language.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservice architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and cloud computing environments.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, preferably MySQL.
• Understanding of RDBMS concepts including locking, transactions, isolation levels, and deadlocks.
• Experience using message brokers like RabbitMQ.
• Proven experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
