Description

Architect and design scalable, high-traffic backend systems with a focus on performance and fault tolerance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design resilient backend systems ensuring scalability and high availability.
• Implement and optimize serverless functions using AWS Lambda for real-time data processing.
• Build and manage APIs via API Gateway, configuring throttling, load balancing, and retry strategies.
• Develop failure recovery mechanisms to handle transient errors and traffic spikes.
• Implement semantic caching strategies to improve data retrieval efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless computing.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Express.
• Proven track record designing and scaling RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Deep understanding of API Gateway, throttling, and retry strategies.
• Experience with distributed systems architecture and cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Knowledge of caching tools like Redis or Memcached.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
