Description

Build and maintain high-throughput backend systems for AI agent orchestration, owning scalable API design and secure service communication.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust APIs using FastAPI, Django, or Flask to handle millions of requests.
• Architect backend systems supporting AI agents, including long-running tasks, state persistence, and LLM integration.
• Implement secure identity protocols such as OAuth2, JWT, and OpenID Connect to protect user data and endpoints.
• Manage efficient request routing and service communication using API Gateways or Service Meshes.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using Docker, AWS, or GCP, including asynchronous task queues.

Required Skills

• Expert-level Python proficiency (3.10+ preferred) with 5+ years of experience.
• Deep experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB).
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Proficiency with Docker, AWS, and GCP cloud services.
• Implementation of OAuth2, JWT, and OpenID Connect for authentication.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar agentic workflow tools.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and task queue management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Service Mesh technologies for microservice communication.
• Background in building systems that integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with core backend services.
