Description

You will build and maintain backend data ingestion and API services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion pipelines pulling data from Splunk, InfluxDB, and OpenSearch.
• Normalize, transform, and insert collected data into PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Build RESTful APIs to expose processed data for dashboards, alerts, and metrics.
• Implement data retention and archival logic based on compliance or performance needs.
• Integrate pipelines into CI/CD and containerized environments using Docker and K8s.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of backend development experience using Python, Node.js, or Go.
• Hands-on experience with API development frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, or Express.
• Experience integrating with Splunk, InfluxDB, and OpenSearch.
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Strong grasp of query languages including SPL, Flux/InfluxQL, and Elasticsearch DSL.
• Experience building services to process high-velocity telemetry or monitoring data.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous processing patterns (e.g., Celery, Kafka).
• Familiarity with API security best practices (REST, OAuth, JWT).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
