Good to Have Skills: Experience in threshold tuning for optimization, developing logistic regression models to predict customer behavior, identifying anomalies in transaction and customer behavior, outlier detection, ATL threshold tuning, segmenting customers into homogeneous groups using clustering, logistic regression model performance review. Experience in prompt engineering and generative AI. Knowledge of Hive, VBA, and MS Excel. Understanding of banking and finance, especially in the AML area. Strong statistics and quantitative methods background.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work on threshold tuning for optimization, develop logistic regression models to predict customer behavior, and identify anomalies in transaction and customer behavior.
• Apply quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods to prepare statistical and non-statistical data exploration and advanced statistical analysis.
• Validate data, identify data quality issues if any, and work with technology teams to address them effectively.
• Analyze and interpret data reports, draw conclusions and make recommendations answering specific business needs and requirements.
• Automate data extraction and data preprocessing tasks while performing adhoc data analysis as required by business.
• Design and maintain complex data manipulation processes and provide consistent documentation and presentations to stakeholders.
• Develop new transaction monitoring scenarios based on emerging financial crime risk patterns and regulatory requirements.
• Document solutions and present results in a simple comprehensive way to non-technical audience using clear communication.
• Generate new ideas, concepts and models to improve methods of obtaining and evaluating quantitative and qualitative data.
• Identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect the results of research.

Experience Required: 2-4 years of experience in Financial Services or Analytics Industry. Previous experience with financial services companies including retail banking, small business banking, commercial, institutional, or private banking.

Education: Masters in a numerate subject such as Mathematics, Operational Research, Business Administration, Economics from Premier Institute or equivalent performance track record
