You will engineer data solutions using Python to support governed data access and automation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build Python integration points connecting Alteryx workflows, PowerBI, and DataZone.
• Design reusable Python utilities for workflow analysis, monitoring, logging, and metadata extraction.
• Engineer connectors and plugins to provide governed access to Snowflake and firm datasets.
• Develop microservices and backend components for data ingestion, validation, and lineage.
• Build automated frameworks for data quality checks and workflow performance analysis.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Advanced Python programming, including asynchronous programming, multithreading, and multiprocessing.
• Proficiency with SQL and at least one NoSQL technology.
• Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including Lambda and container services.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Strong experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and SQLAlchemy for data manipulation.
• Experience implementing secure data access using OAuth and SAML.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PowerBI, including DAX and Power Query.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
