Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines as a Python Data Engineer.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage ETL/ELT data workflows using Python.
• Process structured and semi-structured data, implementing ingestion and error handling.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data warehousing.
• Implement and maintain data pipelines in AWS environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Python for ETL/ELT.
• Proficiency in PySpark and Python Data Frame for data processing.
• Expertise in ELT methodologies utilizing SQL and Stored Procedures.
• Strong command of complex SQL, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience with data ingestion and building scalable data pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS environment operations.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of scheduling tools like Control M, Autosys, or Airflow.
• Development experience with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse, including Snowpark and SNOW SQL.
