Description

You will develop and maintain automation toolsets for device asset discovery, data collection, and reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation tools using Python and legacy Perl scripts.
• Enhance existing scripts to improve workflows and network change management.
• Transform operational needs into technical solutions and conduct tooling audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for network automation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant experience in automation and scripting.
• Proficiency in Python for creating API-based services and supporting scripts.
• Understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, VLAN, and ACL.
• Experience with Ansible Tower or Ansible Automation Platform for network device management.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API principles, HTTP methods, and authentication.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git (BitBucket/GitHub).
• Knowledge of database management using MongoDB.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Flask or Django frameworks for building APIs.
• Networking certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
