Description

You will design and develop applications using the Hadoop ecosystem, primarily building and optimizing jobs in PySpark.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize PySpark jobs using Python, Scala, or Java.
• Write and tune Hive queries and MapReduce programs for performance.
• Manage source code using Git repositories.
• Utilize AWS services including EC2 and S3 for infrastructure needs.
• Build and deploy software using Maven, Gradle, and Jenkins in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Python and PySpark.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3).
• Proficiency in SQL and Hive programming.
• Experience with Core Java or Scala.
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Jenkins.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• 3+ years of professional experience.
