Description

You will develop and deploy performant software components on cloud infrastructure within an Agile Scrum environment. You will own the end-to-end system development lifecycle, including DevOps support and production maintenance. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and integrate new technologies as required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and support production software on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Deliver software components within an Agile Scrum framework.
• Mentor junior engineers on engineering techniques and best practices.
• Provide DevOps support for end-to-end system development.

Required Skills

• At least 2 years of software engineering experience in Python.
• At least 2 years of experience building RESTful APIs.
• At least 1 year of experience working with AWS.
• At least 1 year of experience in end-to-end system development and DevOps support.
• Experience with Microservices and SQL.
• Proficiency with AWS Serverless technologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• 4+ years of software engineering experience in Python.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS Lambda, S3, Kinesis, ECS, and RDS (Postgres, MySQL).
• 2+ years of experience in ATDD and Cucumber.
