Build and maintain scalable backend solutions in Austin, TX.

You will own the release pipeline and API development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Python.
• Design and implement unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Build tools to improve developer efficiency and software quality processes.
• Manage code via Git, following standard SDLC and pull request workflows.
• Contribute to tasks in Go as required.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building solutions in Python.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and pymongo.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks.
• Experience with Git and standard testing requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to work with Go (Golang).
