Description

You will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based applications on AWS, owning the full lifecycle from architecture to production support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build backend microservices and RESTful APIs using Python and Spring Boot.
• Develop large-scale data pipelines and transformations using PySpark, Databricks, Snowflake, or OneLake.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on AWS using Docker, Lambda, S3, EC2, and RDS.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed system issues and perform reverse engineering of existing applications.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and monitoring in production environments using Jenkins, GitLab, and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on AWS expertise: Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong data engineering skills with PySpark and backend data processing.
• Proficiency with Docker and containerized deployments.
• CI/CD experience using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, and Linux shell scripting.
• Knowledge of TDD or test automation practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Kafka, or New Relic.
• Exposure to enterprise-scale cloud re-platforming initiatives.
