Description

Develop Python-based back ends, CLI tools, and RESTful APIs to support web interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python back ends and RESTful APIs for web UIs.
• Develop command-line interfaces (CLIs) using Python.
• Write and execute comprehensive integration and unit tests.
• Apply networking knowledge to solve problems involving Ethernet switching and routing.
• Prioritize tasks and manage project timelines using a logical approach to problem-solving.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of software development experience (2 to 5 years for junior roles).
• Proficiency in Python and Object Oriented Programming (OOPs).
• Experience with API development and multi-threading.
• Knowledge of Open Networking, Ethernet switching, and routing.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests in Python.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• L2/L3 protocol development including VLAN, STP, or OSPF.
• Experience with BGP, Multicast, QoS, or IXIA tools.
