Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Python applications while supporting data analysis and process migrations. You will own the release pipeline, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with DevOps to ensure application stability.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Python-based applications and services.
• Perform data analysis and validation during data and process migrations.
• Collaborate with developers to design and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and deploy applications to production environments.
• Work with DevOps teams to ensure smooth application performance and stability.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering and Python development.
• Proficiency in Python and frameworks including Pandas, NumPy, and Pyramid.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases like Snowflake, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience designing and developing software for cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Knowledge of application architectural patterns including MVC, Microservices, and Event-driven architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GoCD.
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration using AWS ECS.
• Understanding of AWS services including Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and S3.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and version control using Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with message brokers like AWS SQS and SNS, or processing systems like Apache Spark and AWS Glue.
• Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Apache Airflow or Prefect.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and tools like Selenium or Cucumber.
