Description

You will own the design, development, and deployment of microservices using Python and FastAPI, ensuring robust CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Azure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and spike creation for upgrade projects while driving team alignment.
• Translate business requirements into functional designs, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Prepare cut-over and deployment plans, managing post-implementation hyper-care support and transition.
• Architect and build scalable microservices integrated with Kafka for event-driven communication.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution designs and drive containerization using Docker and AKS.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the FastAPI framework.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and Apache Kafka.
• Deep knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Experience working with Azure Cloud services.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
