Description

You will engineer backend systems to support model deployment and data lineage tracking.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services for the Avatar Debugging tool using Thrift.
• Integrate model deployments into the platform, including metadata extraction for new Codec Avatar Surfaces.
• Increase test coverage by writing unit and integration tests.
• Refactor and optimize backend workflow orchestration.
• Assist with on-call duties and set up necessary monitoring dashboards.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in Python and Hack, specifically on backend systems.
• 3+ years of experience developing with React and JavaScript.
• 3+ years experience utilizing Hack, Python, and source control.
• Proficiency in continuous integration and testing practices.
• Experience designing and building backend systems that propagate information to a frontend.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and overcome technical roadblocks independently.
• Proven capability to collaborate effectively across different functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience maturing machine learning systems, including model loading and inference pipelines.
• Experience creating and maintaining public projects on platforms like GitHub.
