Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, focusing on RESTful APIs and Azure Cosmos DB integration.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI with OAuth2 and JWT authentication.
• Integrate and manage data storage using Azure Cosmos DB (SQL and MongoDB APIs).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.
• Develop and execute unit tests using pytest or unittest to ensure code quality.
• Optimize backend services for performance and scalability.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Python programming.
• Strong proficiency in FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, including authentication and authorization.
• Solid understanding of unit testing principles and tools (pytest, unittest).
• Experience with Git for code collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
