Description

You will build and maintain data ingestion pipelines and search functionalities using Python and Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Develop data ingestion pipelines using Python.
• Implement search functionalities and integrate them into existing applications.
• Manage data indexing, querying, and performance tuning within Elasticsearch.
• Build and maintain custom APIs including authentication and authorization logic.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional programming experience.
• Proficiency in Python specifically for data engineering tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch or similar search technologies.
• Expertise in data indexing and query optimization.
• Experience with performance tuning for search engines.
• Strong understanding of API development and data formats.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure services including Azure Functions and Azure App Service.
• Knowledge of the .NET Framework.
